Solid waste — Handling, collection, transportation and disposal — Code of practice
Abstract

This Rwanda standard prescribes the recommended procedure for the handling, collection, transportation and disposal of Municipal Solid Waste including household (domestic) waste and non-household waste (including commercial waste, non-hazardous industrial waste, restaurants and shops, hotels, markets, schools, offices and public spaces,) to ensure safety of operatives, passers-by, animals and the environment.
This standard is not applicable to other types of waste covered in RS 209, RS 367, RS 276-1, RS 276-2, and RS 180.
