Aggregates for surface treatment of roads — Specification
Abstract

This draft standard covers requirements and test methods for aggregates, crushed or uncrushed, derived from natural sources for use in surface treatments in the construction or maintenance of bituminous roads surfacing. Requirements are laid down for sizes, strength, gradation of aggregates and methods of sampling and test. It is applicable to common rocks and minerals suitable for use in the form of crushed stone or uncrushed gravel for surface treatments of roads.
