Attiéké — Specification
Abstract

This African Standard lays down the specifications for attiéké or steamed cassava grits intended
for human consumption. It applies to attiéké, a dish produced by the fermentation, physical and
thermal processes, of fresh cassava roots (Manihot esculenta Crantz). This standard does not
apply to attiéké garba as defined in clause 3.3.
NOTE: Attiéké may be known as Akyeke in some areas.
