Dried freshwater sardines — Specification

Abstract

This East African Standard specifies requirements, sampling and test methods for dried freshwater sardines
species such as Rastrineobola argentea, Stolothrissa tanganicae, Limnothrissa miodon, Engraulicypris
sardella, Engraulicypris bredoi and Brycinus nurse intended for human consumption.
NOTE This includes common names used in EAC such as Dagaa, Indagala, Isambaza, Mukene, Muziri, Omena,
Ragogi and Usipa.
