Abstract

This East African Standard identifies various methods of packaging that are suitable for prescribed
maximum quantities of dangerous goods that may be offered for transport by road or by rail.
It specifies minimum performance requirements for the packaging.
1.3 It specifies procedures to be followed to obtain packaging approval.
1.4 It specifies marks, labels and placards to be displayed on the packaging.
