Tilapia production aquaculture farms — Good aquaculture practices
Abstract

This African Standard applies to good aquacultural practices (GAP) for Tilapia in pond, tanks and cage
farming including harvesting and post-harvest handling in order to produce tilapia of good quality and
safe for consumption with minimal effects to the environment. This standard does not cover hatchery
and nursery.
