Vegetable seed — Requirements for certification — Part 1: Cucurbit
Abstract

1.1 This East African Standard specifies certification requirements for pre-basic, basic, certified and standard
seed of cucurbit vegetable crops (Lagenaria, Luffa; Cucurbita; Cucumis and Citrulus).
1.2 These standard covers requirements for eligible varieties, field standards, field inspections, seed
sampling, laboratory standards, certificates, packaging, labelling, and post-control tests.
1.3 The details of the crops are given in Annex A.
