Abstract

This East African Standard specifies requirements for organic production. It covers plant production, animal
husbandry, aquaculture, sustainable fisheries, bee-keeping, the harvesting of wild products, and the
processing and labelling of the products therefrom.
This standard does not apply to procedures for verification such as inspection or certification of products.
