Abstract

1 Scope and application
1.1. Scope
This document specifies the standard method to accredit a Weigh Station for its operations to be
recognised by Member States other than the Member State in which it is located, according to a
recognised Weigh Station Type as specified in Parts 1, 2 and 3 of this Standard, both for new Weigh
Stations prior to commencement with operations and periodically for existing Weigh Stations to continue
the operation thereof. This document also includes the minimum requirements of a Weigh Station
Accreditation Body and its personnel.
1.2. Application
This part is intended to be used at Weigh Stations.
