Abstract

1.1 This East African Standard specifies requirements, sampling and test methods for carbon dioxide used
in the beverage industry.
1.2 This standard does not apply to the following:
a) carbon dioxide used for fire extinguishers, refrigeration, inflation rafts, welding applications and other
general commercial purposes; and
b) carbon dioxide intended for medical use.
