Abstract

This Rwanda Standard describes the processes relating to the production of compressed earth blocks (CEBs)
and their use in design and construction of housing units.
The standard is not applicable in areas subject to earthquakes, floods or cyclones to an extent that requires the
application of appropriate rules in order to avoid major damage.
